Foam DIY Easter Egg Placemats

Easter is coming and what a better way to decorate for Easter dinner at the kids table than with these fun DIY Easter placemats made out of craft foam sheets?! I love that the possibilities are endless with this project. Not only are these fun for adults to make, but this would be a fun project to make with your kids too!

All you need are a few simple supplies and a little imagination and soon your Easter table will be the most fun and colorful!

Supplies needed to make your own DIY Easter placemats:

• Foam Sheets (you will want the larger size 12″ by 18″ size for the base, but any size will work for the decorations)
• Scissors
• Glue Dots
• Foam Stickers (optional)

Begin by cutting out an egg shape from the large foam sheets. Then use the other sheets to cut out squiggles, zig zags, stripes, and circles. Any shapes you want really!

Once you have your pieces cut out, use the glue to attach the foam decorations to the egg. Now that I am thinking of it, you can also use foam stickers to decorate the eggs too! Maybe even use foam letter stickers to personalize your DIY Easter placemats!

One you have your decorations glued on, use the scissors to trim up the edges of your placemat. Once the glue is dry, they are ready to use!

Now it is just time to set your table! Add your plates onto your DIY Easter placements, then add in flatware and a bunny place card.

Tell me this doesn’t make you excited for Easter?! While you are at it, you should try making a bunch of eggs in different sizes and laying them down the center of the table as a fun and colorful table runner! Sometimes the best projects really are the easiest, aren’t they?!
